Pretty toes

Today I got my toes done. Yes it was time for a pedicure. I had the polish changed about 6 weeks ago for our daughter’s wedding to match her theme of tie dyed. I had a hard time finding someone that could do it. They turned out really cute. But with school starting and my nails were long over due, I made an appointment. I decided to go to the local nail school. In August, money is always tight so this offered the perfect win-win solution. I would get me my nails done and the student will receive practice hours and a tip! 2hours later I was done! Turns out the previous polish was difficult to remove. Was I upset? No! Things that appears beautiful take lots of effort. We all can’t be experts when we first begin learning a new skill. Thank you Madi- you are a real gem!

Today, she is packing her belongings and moving. I really needed to change that setting in my phone because she would no longer be living there. As I unpinned her address I felt a ting of sadness, but knew this was a great example of a life lesso...
